Preliminary Experiments on the Influence of Neutral Salts on the Germination of Lathyrus-pollen

The experiments described below were already performed in 1928, but because of the fact that we do not intend to continue this work, we publish the results together with a program of a possible future systematic extension, in order that the material might be compared with the behaviour of colloidal models (mainly autocomplexcoacervates of phosphatids) x) which have been studied by us in the past few years.
