Twee albatrossen voor de Nederlandse kust in oktober 1991

On 7 October 1991, at 52°45’N 4°13’E (ca.13 Nm off the Dutch coast), two albatrosses were seen during an aerial survey. Although insufficient details were seen to enable species identification the observed birds showed resemblance to subadult Wandering and Royal Albatross as depicted in Harrison (1988).
