Five Killer Whales were spotted on 16 February 1992 at 57°31.3 N, 08°00.8 E on board RV Pelagia in the Skagerrak, off Jutland. The whales approached the ship in heavy weather, and photo’s taken during the encounter showed that the pod consisted mainly of females and immature males.
