A Harbour Seal corpse was found in Emmeloord, an inland location in Flevoland (The Netherlands). A necropsy and the analysis of the stomach contents suggested that the animal must have drowned well offshore in the North Sea, and must have been transported and dumped to the bicycle track inbthe nature reserve where it was found. Motives for this act are completely unclear.
