In The Netherlands and Belgium, more than 400 people sent in butterfly observations made in 1991. The data have now been worked up, so that an overview can be given of the number and distribution of many butterfly species. Several Interesting and less common butterfly species, observed in The Netherlands and Belgium in 1991, arc discussed.
