The 'day-flying moths' project was started In 1992 and has resulted in a number of Interesting data. Observations have been collected. and in the article a first impression of the results is given. Observations ranged from common species like Zygaena JUipendulae and Thgria jacobaear, to the rare migrant Catocala fraxinL Other rare species included Sione lineata. Euplagia quadripuncta ria and Amata phegea. Large numbers of Sphingidae moths were reported, especially Acherontia atropos and Macroglossum stellatarum. The survey will be continued in 1993.
