Extreme warmte lokt Oranje luzernevlinder

The migrant butterfly Clouded Yellow (Colias croceus) is observed each year in the Netherlands, often in the far north and south of the country. During the warm summer of 1994 reports came in of many specimens in the coastal region near Petten (North Holland). The butterflies were seen on grass verges, feeding on clover.
