Voedselacceptatie door Stippelmotten

A moth which can cause serious damage to trees and shrubs is Yponomeuta. In the Netherlands eight species of Yponomeuta are found, most of them accepting only one species of plant as their foodplant. In some cases the caterpillars become real pests as they eat away the leaves and cover the shrubs with fine webs.
