A naturalist has monitored butterflies on the domain grounds of his house annually since 1981. The property consists of rural grassland, which is managed in a nature-friendly way, oak trees and small vegetable gardens. Results of 15 years of monitoring are given. Most of the 24 species of butterfly sighted, belong to members of the Whites and the Browns. Unusual species in this locality include the Comma (Polygonia c-album), Camberwell Beauty (Nymphalis antiopa) and Clouded Yellow (Colias croceus).
