The author has spotted many interesting butterflies on his small farm, which he has managed since 1980 in a nature-friendly way. Trees, shrubs, small meadows and kitchen gardens blend in with the surrounding landscape and are a suitable habitatfor many species. The small-scale landscape units and the abundance of flowers and foodplants attract butterflies like the Speckled Wood (Pararge aegeria). Ringlet (Aphantopus hyperantus) and Wall Brown (Lasiomata megera).
