Vlinders kweken: de koningspage

The ex ova rearing of the Scarce Swallowtail (Iphiclides podalirius) is described. The whole rearing process can he done in l-litre jars, provided that ample light, heat and food of good quality are supplied. The eggs were mostly obtained from a solitair sloe in northern Italy, where the species is abundant.
