Neolithic flint mine and workshops at Saspów, near Cracow

The flint mine of Saspow is situated in Cracow Upland, aprox. 25 km north-west of Cracow. It chiefly consists of Upper-Jurassic Limestones and sediments resulting from their weathering. In the Last Glaciation they were to a large extent covered with loess.
