P. pearsoni sp. n, (dholotype: Limoncocha, Prov. Napo) is described and illustrated. The affinities of Peruviogomphus (9 described by ST. QUENTIN, 1973, Annin naturh. Mm. Wien 77: 335-363) with this species are discussed.
