The new sp. is described and illustrated on the basis of a series of 8 1 $ (tandem) (holotype $■. Alto Iguazü, Misiones, Argentina, Feb. 7, 1979; deposited in the Landessammlungen für Naturkunde, Karlsruhe). It is closely related to H. dominula Hagen in Selys, 1853.
