The general structure of the Malpighian apparatus was studied in larvae and imagines"Df spp. referable to 9 odon. families representative of the Order. The same disposition was found in all groups examined, save for the Aeshnidae. In Odon., metamorphosis does not affect the Malpighian apparatus.
