P. sanguinipes sp. n. (holotype <5 in tandem with allotype $: Arroyo Bermejo, Distrito Nacional, I0-VIII-I983; deposited in the Florida State Collection of Arthropods, Gainesville) is described and illustrated, and some notes on its ecology are provided.
