Directed at general readership, biotic communities, incl. those of the odon., are outlined of various types of aquatic habitats in canton Zurich, Switzerland. Of particular interest is the reference to Epitheca bimaculata. The locality is not stated, but in an earlier publication the Author reported it as being restricted to Wilersee (1948, Ber. geobot. Forschlnst. Riibel 1947: 112-151).
