The new sp. is described, illustrated and compared with L. simplex Hag. Holotype 6 and allotype 5: Veracruz, Laguna de Santo Domingo, 4 km NW of Huatusco, alt 1300 m, 9-Vtt-2000; deposited at CN1N, UNAM, Mexico.
