A STUDY OF THE POST-EMBRYONIC DEVELOPMENT OF LIBELLUIA JULIA UHLER UNDER CONTROLLED CONDITIONS (ANISOPTERA: LIBELLULIDAE). — Larval growth of Libellula julia Uhler was studied in the laboratory at 25°C and 16h light: 8h dark photoperiod. Four growth patterns (with 12, 13, 14 and 15 larval instars) were observed. Variation in size and shape of four structures (head capsule, prementum, metathoracic femora and metathoracic wing buds) has been analyzed by principal components analysis.
