AESHNA SUBARCTICA WAL- KER RECORDED ALSO FROM SWITZERLAND (ANISOPTERA: AESHNIDAE) – The sp. is recorded (Aug., 1978) from 2 localities in canton Obwalden and from 1 each in cantons Bern and Grisons (Graubiinden). All localities are autochthonic swamp succession zones of peat-bog pools, mostly consisting of Sphagnum. The specimens caught (2 d, 2 9) are characterized by conspicuously small posterodorsal abdominal spots. It is suggested that more records are to be expected from Switzerland and possibly from the Italian Alps.
