OPHIOGOMPHUS SERPENTINUS (CHARRENTIER) IN THE ODONATE POPULATION OF THE LOMELLINA PAVESE, LOMBARDY, ITALY. (ANISOPTERA: GOMPHIDAE) The odon. fauna (30 spp.) of the Tromello region is recorded. The ecology and ethology of O. serpentinus are dealt with in detail, and its exuviae is illustrated. In view of the peculiar fauna (inch Gomphus flavipes and Boyeria irenae) the protection of the biotope is argued.
