RARE OR LITTLE KNOWN ITALIAN ODONATA —Noteworthy records and various observations are presented for 10 spp,, incl. Pyrrhosoma nymphula f. fulvipes (Steph.) (first record for Italy), Enallagma cyathigerum (Charp.) (nominate form from northern Italy, Norway and Sweden compared with the ssp. possompesi Heymer), Chalcolestes viridis (Vander L.) (mature adults encountered at a distance exceeding 2 km from the assumed emergence site), Sympetrum vulgatum (L.) (second record from Veneto), and Selysiothemis nigra (Vander L.) (first record from Emilia-Romagna, extending its known Italian range in northern direction).
