THE ODONATA OF ROME AND ITS OUTSKIRTS, WITH AN UPDATED LIST OF THE LATIUM SPECIES (ITALY) — 14 spp. from water basins of Roman parks and 24 spp. from aquatic habitats in the outskirts of the city are reported. These represent resp. 27% and 46% of the odon. fauna known from the Lazio region (52 spp.). The occurrence in the city of Erythromma viridulum is of particular interest, as only 3 populations of this sp. have so far been recorded from Lazio.
