During our stay in Canada (27 July-9 September, 1983) we collected 52 species in the provinces of Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Enallagma anna is the first record for Saskatchewan and the third for Canada. Sympetrum pallipes is new to Saskatchewan and the easternmost record in Canada. Most specimens are deposited in the Rijksmuseum van Natuurlijke Historic, Leiden. Those that are in other collections are indicated by the acronyms: BCPM = British Columbia Provincial Museum, Victoria; — and LB = collection L. Beukeboom, Groningen (The Netherlands).
