Libellenbeobachtungen in Nordpolen

DRAGONFLY OBSER- VATIONS IN NORTHERN POLAND — 38 spp. are recorded from the Hinsk Lake District and from the Tucholskie Forest, both situated in the Baltic faunal province of J. ILLIES(1978, Limnofauna europaea, Fischer, Stuttgart). Lestes barbarus and Anax parthenope are reported for this province for the first time, confirming the transitional character of this area. The correlation between the spp. assemblages and the habitat structure is dicussed in the terms of the Upper Pleistocene lake genesis.
