Interesting records of Nihonogomphus ruptus (Sel.) in Novosibirsk province, western Siberia, Russia (Anisoptera: Gomphidae)

The odonate fauna of the Novosibirsk province is quite well explored; 48 species are known to occur there (O.E. KOSTERIN et ah, 2001, Sympetrum, Hyogo 7/8: 24-49). Among these, N. ruptus is considered extremely rare, known from three records (3 specimens) only. In 2003 and 2004, seven adults were collected near the Inya River, at the Otgonka railway station (Toguchinskii district), viz. I teneral 3 (4-VI-2003), 2<J and 3 $ (17-VI-2003), and 23 (12-VI-2004). In addition, on 17-VI-2003, 13 were caught and set free.
