On 18 February 2013, an adult Buzzard was seen feeding on a female Stone Marten in grassland near the city of Groningen (northern Netherlands). The cadaver may have been found on a nearby road, or killed by a Red Fox Vulpes vulpes (scat found). It is unlikely that the Buzzard had been killed by the marten.
