Over de teloorgang van taxonimisch onderzoek (2)

The author gives his opinion about the declining role of strict taxonomic research in the Netherlands. It was recognised by the international scientific community already more than ten years ago that systematic biology forms an elementary basis for many branches of applied biological research. Nevertheless it is treated in a haphazard way for many years, resulting in a loss of necessary expert’s opinions.
