The cardiid Habecardium tenuisulcatum is recorded from Vlissingen (province of Zeeland, the Netherlands). One valve is found in the ZMA-collection, collected December 1928 and misidentified as Laevicardium crassum (Gmelin, 1791). Close investigation reveals the diagnostic features typical of H. tenuisulcatum.
