Het ABC van Balea biplicata in het Groene Woud in Noord-Brabant

In an earlier study on the malacofauna of the region Het Groene Woud in the province of Noord-Brabant Balea biplicata was found at only two spots close to the highway A2. In this area an ecoduct is planned in order to create one functional ecological unit as a part of the Ecological Network (EHS). In this study B. biplicata was found to have a wider distribution over the region, so the work on the ecoduct will not be a problem for the survival of this species in the region.
