The Striped (Dune) Snail (also called Vineyard or White snail in Australia and Maritime gardensnail in the U.S.A.) Cernuella virgata (Da Costa, 1778) is here reported for the first time from Terschelling, one of the Dutch Waddensea islands. Recently it had been reported already from the nearby island of Vlieland.
