The “Atlasproject Nederlandse Mollusken” introduced a new slogan “Which snail is there in my grid?” to get more results. The good result of a leaf-litter sample from Denmark inspired me to use this slogan just for my garden. This resulted in a new finding of Paralaoma servilis (Shuttleworth, 1852) in The Netherlands. The first finding of this species was in June 2001 in the province Zuid-Holland followed by findings in 2003 and 2004, also in Zuid-Holland and in Noord-Brabant. My finding on March 20th 2005 is done in Emmen, province Drenthe.
