From 1988 until 2001 my colleague and I worked on the uninhabited Waddensea-island Rottumerplaat. Our job consisted of the monitoring of birds, plants, butterflies and seals. Besides that we investigated other groups of plants and animals, for instance the molluscs. The tables show the molluscs that were found on the island between 1988 and 2001 (1 species of Polyplacophora, 41 species of Gastropoda, 50 species of Pelecypoda and 4 species of Cephalopoda) and the places where living species were found.
