Landslakken langs spoordijken, 3A. Een aanvulling betreffende het traject van de museumstoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik

The surroundings of two additional railroad-crossings of the Museum steam-tram Hoorn-Medemblik were surveyed for the presence of terrestrial snails and slugs on 27 September F2006. Most probably because of the unusual dry and hot weather during the whole month of September only 15 different species were recorded. Yet three among them: Succinella oblonga, Oxychilus draparnaudi and Candidula intersecta, turned out to be new records for this railway track. Candidula intersecta is the only real xerothermic species occurring along this track.
