Four new localities of the invasive landsnail Hygromia cinctella (Draparnaud, 1801), family Hygromiidae, are reported from the Netherlands: two new localities in Purmerend (where this species seems to have established a strong foothold in gardens, parks and roadsides), and one each in Monnickendam and on Terschelling, one of the Dutch Waddensea islands.
