Gulella usambarica Pfeiffer, Arch. Molluskenk., vol. 81, p. 102 (1952). not Gulella usambarica (Crvn.) founded on Pupa usambarica Craven, Proc. Zool. Soc. London, vol. 22, p. 218, fig. 2 (1880). This name is proposed in honour of the late Dr. KARL LUDWIG PFEIFFER, and since there is already a Gulella pfeifferi (Krs.) and also a Gulella caroli (Kobelt) his second christian name has been used.
