In October 1957, after the typhoon “Hester” had passed the Philippine Islands, a live Conus gloria-maris Chemnitz was found near the island of Corregidor, at the mouth of Manila Bay. It is a fresh specimen, 99 mm in length and 34 mm in width (fig. 1). It is now in the possession of Mrs GLORIA P. GUERRERO, at Quezon City, P.I.
