The first records of Pseudamnicola confusa from the Netherlands are published. An empty shell (fig. 1, left) was found washed ashore at the S. coast of the island of Rozenburg in 1944, a living specimen (fig. 1, right) in a pool outside the dike of the ‘Nieuwe Waterweg’ at the N. coast of the same island in 1945. Both specimens belonged to samples in Dr. W. VERVOORT’S collection of Mollusca, which was recently presented to the Rijksmuseum van Natuurlijke Historie at Leiden.
