A new variety of Buccinum undatum L. has been described from a shell from Noordwijk as multiflexuosa nov. var. This variety is characterized by longitudinal ribs similar to those of the var. flexuosa Jeffreys, but more numerous, viz., 20 instead of about 12 on the last whorl. Holotype 97 x 57 mm.
