The so-called genus Isabellaria Vest, 1867, characterized mainly conchologically, might be polyphyletic. The species classified with it have the “Graciliaria type” of apertural lamellae, of which we know already that it evolved independently in various other subgroups of the Clausiliidae. Prior to a time-consuming, more thorough revision of the entire “genus”, which might have consequences for the (sub)generic nomenclature, four new species are described from the Peloponnesus, Greece.
