Truncatellina cylindrica (Fér.) on the island of Walcheren Truncatellina cylindrica (Férussac, 1807) is recorded from Domburg on the island of Walcheren, province of Zeeland, the Netherlands. The species was discovered in sand dunes NE. of the village on 6.VI.1993 during a field trip of the Dutch malacological society. Apart from being the first record for Walcheren, this also indicates a range extension northward of a Belgian/Dutch ‘coastal’ population of T. cylindrica.
