The identity of Hyalina moussoni Kobelt, 1878 What has been considered to be Hyalina moussoni Kobelt, 1878, appears to represent a new species, here described s.n. Oxychilus (Schistophallus) investigatus n. sp. Riedel (SW. Bulgaria, northern parts of European Turkey, and NW. Asia Minor). The holotype of Oxychilus (Schistophallus) moussoni (Senckenberg-Museum, Frankfurt a.M.) was compared to recent material from both sides of the Bosporus, and found to agree perfectly; anatomical details are supplied for the first time. The species appears to be restricted to the above-mentioned very limited area.
