Contrary to Cernohorsky’s (1984) findings, Nassarius callospira is herein shown to consist of two different species. One, N. moolenbeeki new species, is limited to the western Pacific; the other, N. callospira, occurs in both the western Pacific and the Indian Ocean. occurs in both the western Pacific and the Indian Ocean.
