On the synonymy of Tandonia strandi (H. Wagner, 1934) Among slugs collected in the region of Istanbul (Turkey), Tandonia cretica (Simroth, 1885) could be identified by means of the species-specific spermatophore and anatomical features. Tandonia strandi (H. Wagner, 1934), formerly described from Istanbul and Tekirdagh as a distinct species, is now considered a younger synonym of Tandonia cretica.
