A record of Trisidos semitorta (Lamarck, 1819) from Aden (Bivalvia: Arcidae)

Two species of the arcid genus Trisidos live in the Erythraean region, T. tortuosa (L., 1758) and T. semitorta (Lam., 1819). The former is already known to occur in the Gulf of Aden and the southern Red Sea. The presence of the latter near Aden is documented here.
