Two species of the opisthobranch genus Chelidonura are reported from the Isle of Malta: C. fulvipunctata Baba, 1938, and C. italica Sordi, 1980. This is the third published record of C. fulvipunctata for the Mediterranean. The synonymy with C. mediterranea Swennen, 1961, and C. conformata Burn, 1966, is discussed. C. italica is a locally common species. New observations on the anatomy of both species and comparison with other published records are presented.
