Alora redefined (Gastropoda, Caenogastropoda, Epitoniidae)

Alora gouldii, the type species of Alora, is compared with the Epidendrium species, to investigate whether Epidendrium is a junior synonym of Alora. It turns out that these nominal taxa are not closely related among the Epitoniidae.
