The West Indian ”Slate pencil urchin” is the host of several small parasitic snails, all belonging to the family Eulimidae. Best known is Sabinella trochlodytes Thiele, 1925 a species, which deforms the spines of the sea urchin and makes galls in which one or more individuals (often at least a male and female) are settled. Another parasitic snail was recently described from material collected by the author (Trochostilifer eucidaricola) Information about density of these parasites and accurate locality data of the sea urchin (Eucidaris tribuloides) are given.
