Correspondentieblad NMV , Volume 258 - Issue 1 p. 786- 787
Janthina exigua and Janthina pallida are reported for the first time from the eastern part of the Mediterranean basin. Empty shells of all four species known to occur in the Mediterranean were encountered in bathyal samples taken from a depth of 1400 m.
