De verspreiding van de wijngaardslak (Helix Pomatia) in het Gooi en omstreken

Apart from the province Limburg, the occurence of Helix pomatia in the Netherlands is local, and caused by human introduction. In the district “Het Gooi” the first written records date from Van Hengel (1875). In this century more attention is paid to its distribution. All known localities and population densities are enumerated.
